Located in Dhaka, Bangladesh, this ancient Kali Mandir was destroyed by the Pakistani Army, during the 1971 war, under operation “Searchlight”. Thanks to the Ministry of External Affairs(MEA) under the Modi government and the co-operation of the Sheikh Hasina government of Bangladesh, this temple is getting rebuilt with funds from the Government of India.
