This is a 12 ft high statue of Jagadguru Shri Adi Shankaracharya ji, which will be installed near his Samadhi at Kedarnath temple, Uttarakhand, under the personal initiative of PM Narendra Modiji. Looks beautiful 😍😍😍.The original statue near his samadhi was washed away during the 2013 Uttarakhand floods. This particular statue is made of Krishna Shile Blackstone of Mysore, and weighs around 35 Tonnes.Built by Mysore based Sculptor Arun Yogiraj and his 9 assistants at his home in Mysore, he was personally selected by PM Narendra Modiji, after sculptors from all over India were invited to Delhi and Modiji was interested on him, after Arun presented a 2ft Model of this statue to him. Work on this statue started on September 2020, and was completed within 7 months. It is not on its way to Kedarnath, Uttarakhand, where it will be installed soon.© Rishav Bhowmick
